- If the candle flame becomes high, flickering, or smokey promptly extinguish it.
- Place the candle away from heat, hot windows, and flammables, and place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Gently blow out the candle or use a snuffer; never use water. Check that the candle is fully extinguished after use.
- Store the candle in a cool place to avoid fading and warping.
- Allow the wax to fully melt to the container's edges to avoid 'tunneling', a condition where the candle's center hollows out.
- Keep the wick length to 1/4 inch before each use.
